Dingley Dell Cottage

Located approximately 30 kilometres south of Mount Gambier. Dingley Dell can be easily accessed via the Port MacDonnell Road.

Former Home of Famous Poet Adam Lyndsey Gordon.
Set in natural bushland of Dingley Dell Conservation Park, visit the former home of this famous poet, which has been beautifully preserved as a reminder of its previous owner life in the 1860’s.

One of South Australia’s most impressive caves, set into a cliff face. On arrival a guide will explain the history and geology of the caves, then stroll the large cavern at your own leisure.
Above ground there is a picnic area and cliff top walking trail, with panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Valley Lake Recreation Area

Enjoy the conservation park with koalas and Kangaroos, undercover picnic areas, 16 free gas BBQ’s, and an adventure playground.

The Valley Lake Area has various walking tracks all with different gradients and distances, all the walking tracks lead to lookout points.

Nangwarry Forestry and Logging Museum

Established in 1999 by the local government, to house preserved logging equipment, the museum also has an array of timber products and many woodworking displays.

Guided tours are available and there are also picnic sites nearby.

Pump Track

Railway Lands

An abandoned railway line which has been converted into a shared walking cycling path stretching for more than 3km’s through the centre of Mount Gambier. Explore the Nature trail or just enjoy the walk, cycle or scooter through Mount Gambier.
